The Whig-Standard, "Kingston Prize", October 2007, Kingston ON

Honourable Mention (one of two 2nd place winners) for the 2007 Kingston Prize, Canada's National Portrait Competition.
Judges for the 2007 Kingston Prize were Montreal artist, Eliza Griffiths, Bill Kirby, executive director of the Centre for Canadian Contemporary Art, and Richard Rhodes, editor of Canadian Art magazine. The Kingston Prize was won by Joshua Choi of Etobicoke for his Portrait titled Emily, and the two honourable mentions went to Miklos Legrady of Toronto for his acrylic on canvas titled OCAD Student 2225233, and Jennifer Walton for her oil on canvas self-Portrait. The People's Choice Award went to Paul Robert Turner for his oil on canvas titled Attach.
